II. Test process analysis

1. Test process:

- The use of brine with a concentration of about 10% as the immersion medium is in line with the application scenarios of general water treatment or ion exchange resins, ensuring the practicality of the test.

- The setting of two observation time points (five minutes and half an hour later) takes into account both the initial reaction and the stability under longer immersion time, which helps to comprehensively evaluate the performance of the resin. Samples can even be kept for observation. The longer the time, the more small molecular organic matter attached to the resin surface will be soaked out.

III. Analysis of test results

1. Color change:

- The supernatant did not turn yellow during the two observations, indicating that this batch of 001*8 resin did not release significant colored substances during the salt water immersion process and maintained good stability, which is crucial for maintaining the clarity of the treated water.

2. Mechanical strength:


- The resin did not break after being soaked in salt water, proving that it has mechanical strength and can withstand certain stress without physical damage.


IV. Repeatability and scalability

This test scheme is simple and clear, and the operation steps are easy to use, ensuring the repeatability of the experiment. At the same time, by adjusting parameters such as brine concentration and immersion time, the test range can be easily expanded to meet the performance verification requirements in different application scenarios.
