In order to conduct quality inspection on the cartridge filter housings produced in the factory, Amanda engineer Ares went to the warehouse and randomly selected one 20-inch 5 round and one 40-inch 7 round cartridge filter housing for testing.
After taking out the two cartridge filter housings, we observed the workmanship. The overall materials are very solid (the top cover and the cylinder are very thick), the welds are beautiful, and the polishing is uniform. Overall, the factory's cartridge filter housings are among the best in production and workmanship among similar products.
Two cartridge filter housing were transported to the pressure test site. During the process of removing the top cover, the top cover and the cylinder were observed. Due to their thick materials, the overall processing roundness and fit were very good. The sealing ring of the cartridge filter housing was observed to be uniform in thickness and good in elasticity.
After removing the cartridge filter housing hoop and observing the cartridge filter housing cylinder and top cover, tighten the hoop before pressing. The overall tightening process is very smooth. One person can complete the tightening of the 5 round cartridge filter housing, and two people can also complete the tightening of the 7 round cartridge filter housing smoothly.
After the tightening is completed, the cartridge filter housing pressure begins, and the 5 round and 7 round cartridge filter housings undergo pressure tests successively:
1. Pour in tap water, open the exhaust valve at the top of the cartridge filter housing, and pass water until all the gas in the cartridge filter housing is exhausted and continuous water flow is ejected from the top exhaust valve.
2. Close the exhaust valve of the cartridge filter housing, cut off the water inlet and outlet test valves before and after the cartridge filter housing, manually press, and observe while pressing.
3. Press to 8 kg water pressure, observe whether the cartridge filter housing has water leakage, focus on the top clamp, and find no water leakage, start to enter the pressure holding state, and start recording the pressure holding time.
4. Maintain pressure for 10-20 minutes, observe every 3 minutes during the process to see if there is a water leakage point in the cartridge filter housing, and when the cartridge filter housing is pressure-maintained, it is considered qualified if there is no water leakage.
This time, the sealing of the two cartridge filter housings is intact. The basic hoop can basically meet the sealing requirements by hand tightening. After hand tightening, the 7 round cartridge filter housing is tightened a few times with a wrench.
In this test, the seals of the two cartridge filter housings were intact. Overall, the quality of the cartridge filter housings is relatively good.
