Product Introduction
Applicability
1) Suitable for all 10" housings for the removal of heavy metals and organic contaminants. Can be used to filter drinking water by inserting into any standard universal 10" filter housing.
2) Used as a pre-filter in stage 3 of all reverse osmosis systems, using a 10" pre-filter in a 10" housing (for the intermediate housing as perfect protection for the reverse osmosis membrane). All reverse osmosis systems rely on this carbon block filter for pre-filtration prior to the membrane stage.
3) All other water systems either filter heavy metals and organic contaminants or act as a pre-filter to filter/reduce discoloured water.
4) Pre-filters for many other uses in domestic reverse osmosis systems, aquarium/pond koi water treatment systems, water supply poles and 10" housings for well water or lake water (almost always before the sedimentation stage in wells and lakes) lake water filtration)
