The UVC light in a medium pressure germicidal unit is multi-wavelength, ranging from 200-400nm. Different wavelengths of UV light can penetrate and destroy the nuclei of different types of microorganisms, inactivating them and not reviving them.


  Why you need a UV Sterilizer for Aquaculture Water Treatment


In the field of aquaculture, there are several problems that are often encountered:

One is the rapid reproduction of algae. Under the sun's rays, algae can reproduce very quickly, which consumes oxygen and nutrients in the water, thus affecting the normal growth of aquatic products. Medium pressure UV can effectively solve these problems. The UV light emitted by the medium pressure UV lamp effectively kills the algae and prevents them from reproducing. The whole aquaculture system uses a circulating water system, which prevents the regeneration of algae.


Secondly, the UV light is able to inactivate 99.99% of bacteria and viruses in the water, and has a high inactivation rate for germs that cause disease in aquatic products (e.g. Vibrio, Cucumis, etc.), and prevents their resurgence. UV disinfection is a physical disinfection without the addition of any chemical disinfectants and does not cause secondary contamination of the water body. This guarantees the safety of water quality and prevents the incidence of disease in aquatic products.

  Working Theory Of UV Light Purification


UV Light Purification is invisible, exists in the outside of UV spectrum,so it is called UV radiaction. According to a different wavelength range,they are cut into A, B, C three kinds of bands, including the C-band UV wavelength between 240-260nm, which is the most effective sterilizer band, band's strongest point it the wavelength of 253.7nm.
